Random ramblings from the personal blog of an NC library technician (Hunt Library, NC State University) who's a fan of superheroes (and supervillains), tabletop roleplaying games (D&D 3E/3.5, Pathfinder, Mutants & Masterminds, GURPS, Champions/HERO, some White Wolf), some video games (mostly the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, and Minecraft), and of a ridiculous amount of shows/movies -- Adventure Time, Avatar: the Last Airbender (still haven't seen The Legend of Korra yet), Babylon 5, Breaking Bad, the Cthuhu Mythos, The Dark Crystal, Doctor Who, Eureka, Exo Squad, Farscape, Fringe, Futurama, Game of Thrones, Good Eats, Iron Chef, Labyrinth, Legend, Nightbreed, The Princess Bride, Sliders, Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Supernatural, Transformers, The Walking Dead, and Warehouse 13, to name a few.
I've also got a growing interest in cosplay and steampunk.
Basically, if it's fantasy, horror, or sci-fi, I'll probably love it.

And SCIENCE! (particularly body modification and transhumanism)

I also enjoy cooking. And bats. And squid, cuttlefish, and other cephalopods.

And of people being themselves, and of consenting adults being able to do whatever they want however they want with whoever they want, no matter what others think. (I.e., feminism, sex positivity.)

I try to keep this blog SFW. The only porn I'll be posting here is technology porn.

I apparently blog a fair bit about dating and love and relationships (familial, platonic, romantic, et cetera). What's the old saying? "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach."

I am a 35 year old white cisgendered heterosexual male atheist introvert. I believe in feminism and equality. I do not drink or smoke.

I struggle with mild depression and anxiety issues, so sometimes my blog may get a bit maudlin.
